Local-first bookkeeping means the primary administration is stored and managed locally, with external services used only when the user chooses to connect them.
Privacy by workflow
Mekazu does not need a cloud mirror for the core administration. If you connect an AI provider, you do that with your own model configuration.
Automation with boundaries
Chat, MCP, and REST API workflows are powerful, but paid automation stays behind a license after the AI trial.
