No. Mekazu is built around local administrations. Your accounting records stay on your Mac for the core workflow; Mekazu does not need a cloud copy of your administration.

Licensing
What is free and what needs a license?
You can use the bookkeeping features free with one administration. During the 14-day AI trial, you can use Mekazu AI features with your own model setup. Mekazu does not include access to paid model providers. After the trial, Chat, MCP, REST API access, and multiple administrations require a license.
Accountant Support
Can my accountant use the exports?
Yes. Mekazu exports structured accounting data such as CSV, Excel, and JSON for review, handoff, and reporting.
